Coca-Cola

Client needs:

Coca-Cola needed to enhance their advocacy and persuasion efforts in European Union matters. They sought to improve their ability to persuade policy-makers using science communication and message framing methods. The goal was to equip their team with the skills needed to effectively convey their messages and ethically  influence regulatory decisions.

Workshop Format:

We designed an in-person workshop tailored to Coca-Cola’s needs, held in Brussels. Participants were split into smaller groups to ensure interactive and focused learning.

The workshop included:

  • Case Studies: Real-world scenarios relevant to the client’s industry.
  • Interactive sessions: Hands-on activities and role-playing to practice communication strategies.
  • Expert lectures: Insights from our team and external experts in science communication and advocacy.

Outcome:

The workshop provided Coca-Cola’s team with practical tools and techniques to enhance their advocacy efforts. Participants learned how to frame their messages effectively and use scientific data to support their positions. The training led to improved confidence and competence in engaging with EU policy-makers.

Key Results:

  • Enhanced ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and persuasively.
  • Improved skills in framing messages to align with policy-makers’ priorities.
  • Increased confidence in advocacy and lobbying efforts within the European Union.
