AI seems to be the hardest word.
Last week, Andras and I spoke at the European Commission's #informeu annual event in Sevilla 🇪🇸!
The event brought together 350+ comms professionals from across Europe, to showcase the EU at its best when it comes to communicating and promoting its programmes.
Our discussions explored how to use AI for persuasion and integrate it into daily work.
Here are the key takeaways:
🤔 Ask deeper questions—the better your questions, the better the answers you’ll get from AI tools.
🤓 Think of AI as an eager, smart but clueless assistant that needs detailed instructions.
🔄 Spot repetitive, time-consuming or data-heavy tasks that AI can help automate.
🚀 Look into AI agents—the next step in AI tools that can handle complex task sequences on their own, going far beyond simple content generation.
AI seems to be the hardest word.
Until you realise the real challenge is:
Change.
Change is hard, uncomfortable and full of uncertainty.
But AI pushes us to rethink how we work, question old habits and become more strategic about the information we use and share.
Moment of appreciation:
It’s wild to think our AI journey started just 8 months ago when Andras and I launched our first AI workshops.
Now, as the year winds down, it’s the perfect moment to reflect and plan for even bigger things ahead.
