What are the main concerns about AI in public affairs?

Sure, AI can be used for:

- monitoring

- note-taking

- stakeholder mapping

- drafting position papers

- tracking legislative developments

Basically anything that takes effort.

But how can we create an AI policy to use AI safely?

(especially for those who have never been done before)

Here's how orgs should integrate AI into their work:

- map out your work processes and systems

- spot time-consuming tasks as opportunities*

- get your team trained on the latest techniques

- set guidelines for using AI while protecting data

- always be cautious with the outputs (80/20 rule)

- share AI knowledge internally with success stories

- test implementation through small and safe projects

* remember not to add AI tools for the sake of adding them—they should have a clear purpose that creates a real impact in your work.

The integration of AI is a tricky topic.

But by talking about it, we can find solutions.

That’s exactly what Andras and I will cover on January 30 at our next panel discussion on AI and its challenges.

We'll bring in Maria Linkova-Nijs from European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) and David Timis from Generation to talk about the critical issues surrounding AI.
