It was only a year ago in March 2024 that Jacques Foul and I connected to discuss our shared interest in AI for advocacy.

Having trained over 1000 managers, officials, diplomats and experts since, we’ve just delivered our most comprehensive workshop yet for a global team of corporate and public affairs professionals from the US, Japan, Europe, KSA and beyond, in the pharmaceutical sector, meeting at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.

From patient advocacy to awareness campaigns, internal workflows and direct engagement with policy-makers, AI offers tremendous potential to persuade better.

3 key points we shared:

- our aim was to shift their paradigm about what AI can be used for (and train them how)

- internal AI tools can be combined with external inputs for maximum results

- this is more of a skill than “knowledge”, so practicing is essential for improvement
